‘The chemical multinational Solvay, HLS customer responsible of pollution and land destruction all over the world, has been subject to a fire attack at one of their premises in Volterra, Italy.

During the night of tuesday the 16th an electricity cabin operating 4 pumps transporting water and salt from local mines to the Solvay factory some 20 km away has been torched. Damages are high, and a secondary cabin has been put at work to pump the salted water. On a wall a spraypainted message claimed: SAB SOLVAY.

This factory is under strong criticism and protests for its pollution and the high level of cancers it creates in the area.”
