In May 2008, Sean Kirtley was sentenced to four and a half years in prison after being found guilty of "conspiracy to interfere with the contractual relationships of an animal research organisation." Sean was not accused of vandalism or threatening behavior; instead, the prosecution accused him of organizing peaceful protests against Sequani, an animal testing lab in Ledbury, England.
