On November 9, 2010, Kevin was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading "no contest" to stalking and conspiracy charges, relating to campaigns against vivisection. Because Kevin had been in jail since his arrest in April 2009, he was released from prison (in California's state prison system, prisoners are eligible for release after serving half of their sentence).
