"Wednesday 22nd March - Deer Liberated

On the night of the 22nd, we arrived at our target of Reediehill Deer Farm
near Fife. This farm was the first farm set up to breed and kill deer for
venison in the UK.

Hundreds of metres of fencing surrrounding the pens were cut, giving up to
500 deer a chance of freedom. Although the farmer, John Fletcher, has told
national papers that no deer escaped; we know this to be untrue as we saw a small herd leaving with our very own eyes.

John Fletcher argues that slaughter will be 'humane' and that they are
farmed in 'good conditions'. We believe no cages are big enough and every
death to be violent.

These deer now look set to live out their natural lives in the expansive
wilderness, without fear of slaughter.

We will continue our fight until all animals are free.
