"We have for a while now known of a pheasant breeder outside Enkoping,
but we chose to act only after hearing about the other raid from
another hunt breeder. At the farm we realized that the farm was for
sale and only a few birds were still in the cages. To make sure that
the new owners of the farm will not continue to breed pheasants we
opened all remaining cages and about 20 birds took off. Torstuna
fasaneri is now history. - DBF"

"Vi har sedan länge haft vetskap om att en gård i Lygnesta norr om
Enköping föder upp fasaner för jakt. Men det var först när vi läste
om utsläppet fasner från andra jaktuppfödningar som vi bestämde oss
för att ta vårt eget ansvar och få bort uppfödningen. När vi var på
gården lade vi märke till att den är till salu och att det bara fanns
ett litet antal av överlevande kvar på gården. För att säkerställa
att ideén med fasaneriet försvinner med de gamla ägarna öppnades
burarna till samtliga 20 fåglar. Vi kan därmed garantera att Torstuna
fasaneri nu äntligen tillhör det förflutna. - DBF"
