"DBF ATTACKS SANKYO
- IN SOLIDARITY WITH PRISONERS
The action took place in the night of Friday 2 on Saturday 3 July. "Two cars were parked which we attacked by slashing the tyres," wrote the DBF. "There are also beautiful scratches and litters of bloodred paint on the cars. What we want is clear and is written in big black letters on the wall: DROP HLS!"
The action is dedicated to the British animal rights prisoners Paul and Paul. "It's time for action, no rest for animal abusers," ended the claimletter.
Sankyo Pharma, with their headoffice in Tokyo, has a branch in the Netherlands for five years now. The pharmaceutical company is testing their medicines on animals at the British Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS). Animal rights activists are struggling world-wide for the closure of this animal testing laboratory, by taking action against customers of HLS. Loads of companies have dropped their contracts with HLS."
