"During the night of the 30th march 2007, near Paris (94), ALF action against the MULLER circus.

The Muller circus was targeted by ALF activists. Extremely well organised and with a fast, regular rhythm, Animal Liberation Front activists tore down and destroyed over fifty posters that were tied to most of the light posts in the streets of Villiers sur Marne and nearby towns. The big, laminated publicity posters that the circus re-uses at every new location were carefully spray-painted or thrown away.

The circus has lost its visibility in the area and will have to pay to print out new posters.

As we were getting closer to the circus, a showman came out and followed us (no harm was done). All actions against circuses must be well organised and as safe as possible. These torturers have no problem using their knives.

The Muller circus ill treats and tortures several animals, including a hippopotamus shown on their posters. Here you will find information about this circus and the deplorable conditions the animals live in:

"Action ALF la nuit du 30 mars 2007 contre le cirque MULLER-tortionnaire d'animaux !
Région parisienne, 94.

Le cirque Muller a été la cible de l'ALF. Extrêment bien organisés, les activistes du Front de Libération des Animaux ont, avec un rythme soutenu et sans relâche, arraché et détruit une bonne cinquantaine d'affiches recouvrant la plupart des poteaux dans toutes les rues de Villiers sur Marne et les villes alentours. Les grands panneaux publicitaires plastifiés que le cirque réutilise à chaque nouveau déplacement ont été bien tagués ou jetés.
Le cirque n'a plus de visibilité dans ces quartiers et devra repayer et imprimer des affiches neuves.
A noter qu'à notre approche du cirque, un forain est sorti et nous a suivi (sans dommage). Toutes les actions contre les cirques doivent être organisées et sécurisées au maximum, ces tortionnaires n'hésitant pas à s'exprimer au couteau !
